How do you go to Lake Powell in the colder months?
- Great question- the winter months are not for everyone. It’s is cold yes, the water is feeezing yes, the nights are VERY long yes. However, it is an amazing time to be on The Lake. The months of November - February are very quiet. I will provide dry suits for those who wish to embark on this crazy adventure. The water is like glass most days and the striper Fishing is off the charts with many days we will catch over 100 fish. We do not plan on getting in the water as the average water temperature is 50 degrees. Hiking is great the scenery is amazing but the days are short and again the nights are very long. Bring a book or I-pad and be prepared to spend many hours in your tent. Call us for more information on a winter trip 435-772-5616
